Jim beat me to it, but Nikon announced a new D-3 DSLR with a full frame sensor.  I guess they figured out people actually wanted to buy these.  Also go new D-300.

While not very complex, I just haven’t had the time to figure out the ins and outs of the new Nikon S200. So far the verdict is that it’s easy to use and takes nice photos. A more detailed review to come…but in the mean time, some eye candy.

Well, that was quick.  The new Nikon S200 arrived today.  My wife was so excited, she actually read the manual.  Sample photos and a review shortly.

Fellow DP Blogger, Jim, over at Slightly Out of Focus, has written a hilarious post about applying personal ad-speak to photographers. It goes something like this: “SMN(Single-Male Nikon) seeks SFMN (Single female Nikon) for long exposure relationship (LER).”
It’s photo-nerd humor. Definitely worth a read!

So my Nikon S200 got ordered this week.  I hate waiting…
