Congratulations to skrockodile (Sabra Krock), the winner in last week’s Diptych contest, for her creative photo combo titled “baking diptych.” We really loved this image. Not only is the photography stunning and the muted color palette rich and warm, but we haven’t even touched on the subject yet, people. Chocolate! Baked goods! You just can’t go wrong when dealing with these things. And Sabra did not disappoint. We also loved the set up of the scene—the before and after that flow so nicely into each other. She makes the baking process (and subsequent clean up) seem so easy, doesn’t she? Great job, Sabra. We’ll be over in a few minutes to help out with the rest of those brownies!

We also wanted to congratulate our runner-up this week, budding photographer, for her shot titled, “Ice Cube Diptych.” This diptych tells a clever story, and the execution of the melting ice in this storyboard is very well done!

Thanks to the rest of you who played along this week. We had many entries and the choosing was hard. It was really cool to see the way you paired up your images to tell the specific story you wanted told. Keep up the great work and we hope to see you all in this week’s contest.
