I’m having a great time playing around with lights in the dark for this week’s Light Effects contest.

Scarlet. EPIC. Red. I don’t know what to call it. But I do know it’s freakin’ cool! It’s basically a Digital Stills and Motion Camera that let’s you shoot still photography or video on the same camera in which you customize to your needs. Swap out the body, lenses, handles, lens mounts, viewfinders, etc…

For our third weekly contest in November, we are focusing on light effects at night.

Fall fruit is good for eating, but I took a moment to photograph a few pieces before I sunk in.

The fires burning nearby make for some dramatic skies for me to photograph.
