Congratulations to Scott Coulter for his winning photo, “Smyrna Christmas lights: Mirror Ball,” in our Christmas Lighting contest. This is a fantastic display of our theme, with the photo being lit only by the Christmas lights on the surrounding trees and houses. We love the reflection and use of self portrait in this one, too. And the scratches and smudges and specks on the ornament really add to the overall feel of the image. Great job, Scott! Thanks for starting off our month of Christmas-themed contests right and getting us into the spirit of the season.

Congratulations also to our runner-up, Selena VK, for her touching photo titled “Pretty Lights.” What a peaceful way to spend a December evening by the glow of the tree.
