From holiday bokeh to zooming in on the details of our favorite ornaments, we're getting ready for all things Christmas over here at Digital Photography Blogs. Since it's all around us this time of year anyway, we thought we would also use our December contests to help get us into the Christmas spirit. But since we're a photography blog, we'll be focusing not just on tinsel, but on technique. So grab your Christmas decorations and your cameras—this month of contests is sure to give you some inspiration! This week, we are starting out easy—Christmas lighting. But that doesn't mean just a photo of Christmas lights. Your photo just has to be lit only using Christmas lights. They don't actually even need to be in the picture. As I searched my archives, I realized I was really lacking in photos featuring Christmas lighting. Great assignment for the week.
