November 4th Week Contest Winner Announced!

Shibuya Crossing

Congratulations to H2, the winner of last week’s “Street Scenes in the Dark” contest for the awesome shot above titled “Shibuya Crossing.” We love this shot for the way it so perfectly depicts the movement of a busy street. We love the chaotic feel—the way it evokes that feeling of being in a foreign place. Of being in a hurry. Of being pushed upstream. Great job, H2!

You guys really impressed us this week. There were so many great shots to choose from in the street scenes pool that we decided to feature the photos of our runners-up this time around.

Speed of Light

Congrats again to essitam/Steph Jennings for the photo above titled, “Speed of Light.” Her photos never cease to amaze us. And this one is no exception. The motion blur in this is outstanding and really caught our eyes!

La Bourse

Congrats, also, to unicyn for his shot above called “La Bourse.” We almost feel as if we are on that dark, damp street with you. And we love the mix of yellow and purple light giving the photo that interesting glow.

Thanks again for your participation. These contests are only as good as the photos you shoot and submit. And you guys are definitely setting the bar high!

Awesome! The quality of the shots you’ve been getting is simply awesome. Great photos and techniques, congratulations to the winner and also all the entrants, very cool.

I agree, Jim. People are really pulling out their greatest shots for these contests. The voting has been really hard!
