I’m having a great time playing around with lights in the dark for this week’s Light Effects contest. It’s a lot of fun and also something that’s really easy. So you have no excuse not to join in the fun and add some photos to our group pool on Flickr.

I’ve photographed the city lights view from my backyard before, but this shot has more of a moody and chaotic feel to it, which I kind of like. A little camera shake never hurt anyone, right?
