Scarlet.  EPIC.  Red. I don’t know what to call it.  But I do know it’s freakin’ cool!  It’s basically a Digital Stills and Motion Camera that let’s you shoot still photography or video on the same camera in which you customize to your needs.  Swap out the body, lenses, handles, lens mounts, viewfinders, etc…

It will be interesting to see what comes of this.  I’m sure it’s going to be a pricey system, but I do like the overall design.  Taking a modular approach to a digital camera is rather shocking in this industry, where (I’m sure) planned obsolescence is part of the game.

Of course, there is this.  They certainly know how to market, that’s for sure.
