Congratulations to steve.wannabe for his winning photo in this week’s Old Faces contest titled, “A Duty Well Done 0647.” We love this photo for so many reasons: the awesome lighting, the touching story it tells and emotions it evokes, the man’s weathered old face contrasted with the woman’s beautiful young face in the picture frame, and the little detail of the uniform hanging in the background—nice touch! What a great image and a perfect depiction of our “Old Faces” theme.

We had some very striking images submitted to our group pool this week. We’d also like to acknowledge steve.wannabe for our runner-up photo entitled, “John Davis 0844.” The old weathered face in his image is so captivating. Great job to all who participated!
