Yup, for free (except the cost of the calories from having to eat all the Pringles potato crisps) you too can make a Macro-bellows out of a Pringles can.

Check it out at Photo-critic.org they have all the gruesome details on how this was done and what results you can expect.  Just make sure you don’t get any crumbs in your camera!

While you’re at it, and have all your stuff out, you might want to go back and check out a home-brewed idea for a on-the-cheap tilt-shift lens set-up. Check it out at Cheap-Shooter.

All cheap enough, even John will like them.

About Jim Dennewill

A Southern California native, Jim Dennewell has had a fascination with photography since elementary school. Weaned on his family's old Kodak Brownie cameras (you know, the ones where everything moves backwards in the viewfinder), Jim has fostered his love for the art and tech of photography over the years. Originally known here as "Slightly Out of Focus," Jim is one of our favorite authors.
