Congratulations to Paul Grand for his shot “Sandal beach bling,” submitted to our August Photography Contest, Getting In Close: Random Objects. What a perfect interpretation of this week’s contest theme. A glittery beach sandal most definitely counts as a random object. We love this shot for its awesome depth of field, muted tones, and the way the extreme bling details he got from his macro lens catch the light. Great job, Paul!
