Photographic Deals of the Week
New Series: Each week John, the king of bargain hunters, will bring us some of his great photography related finds. Of course, if you’ve found a great deal, pass it on too!
Canon Loyalty Program
Trade in your current Canon camera for a refurbished unit with a 6 month warranty. How does a Canon Rebel XT with kit lens for $275 sound? Freaking awesome if you ask me - and I’m a Nikon guy! Note that the models you can receive are dependent on the camera you’re trading in. For more information, check out the fatwallet thread.
Flash Diffusers for Under $4
Lose your flash diffuser? Want a spare? Get the generics for your Canon or Nikon flashes for under $4 shipped.
Canon 50mm F1.8 II Lens for $79.90
Get the Canon 50mm F1.8 II Lens from Abe’s of Maine for $79.90 with free shipping. Don’t forget to put in the code LOYALTY10 or FRIEND10 for $10 off. Abe’s is an authorized Canon dealer, so order with confidence. Might as well check out the Closeouts / Clearance Section
while you’re there!
Canon PowerShot A590IS for $140
Amazon has the Canon PowerShot A590IS on sale for $140 with free shipping. That’s a pretty good price for a point & shoot with image-stabilization and Face Detection.
Lensbaby Sale
Lensbaby is having a nice sale on their three models, 3G, 2.0, and Original. The sales prices are $239.99, $119.99, and $89.99 respectively.
Epson Stylus Photo 1400 36% off
Epson’s popular Stylus Photo 1400 printer is $175 at Adorama after rebate. Epson is very good about rebates, and their printers are pretty good as well.

Responses and Conversations
John, this is great!! Thanks for passing along these deals. I’ll definitely look forward to this every Friday. Also, I’m SO glad that 50mm was for Canon because I would be way bummed if it was for Nikon because I just bought one last week (and didn’t get that kind of deal on it!)

Oh my gosh, I’m so thinking about getting the LensBaby 2.0! I’ve wanted one forever. Crud! Thanks for putting together this list, John.
