Dust Buster Camera Hack

Here’s a quick tip for keeping dust away from your lenses. Most lens caps (front and back) have a little space between the glass and the cap itself. Take advantage of that space by putting a small piece of double-sided tape inside your lens caps. The stickiness of the tape and the static will draw dust away from the glass of your lenses.

If you periodically clean the inside of your lens caps, particularly the back cap, you will further limit the amount of dust that can make its way to your camera’s sensor. Double-stick tape will help reduce it even further. Give it a shot!
