Year In Pictures: Blowin’ In The Wind
This little guy was holding on tight as the breeze tried its hardest to blow him away. If a flower so small can be so resilient, I suppose I could give it a try, too. Hmm . . . life lesson for the day.
I used my Tamron AF 75-300mm F/4-5.6 LD Tele-Macro lens to create this shot from about five feet away from the flower. I don’t lug that thing out often enough. It really is sharp, and I’m always happy with how my shots turn out when I do use it. I guess this month of “Getting in Close” is a good excuse to leave it on my camera for awhile. I’m going to hold off submitting this shot to the group pool until next week though, since we’ll be focusing on nature and landscapes then!
