For all of you out there looking for some relief from the hot summer sun, my 2-year-old daughter suggests watering the flowers and creating lots of pools of cold water to splash in. Some flowers got watered, sure. But mostly the hose stayed on the patio creating plenty of reflective puddles in the late afternoon heat. Also great in the late afternoon? Long dramatic shadows!
