I have been having a lot of fun this summer photographing kids playing in sprinklers. I don’t know what it is about little drops of water, but man — they just come alive in pictures! Read on for a quick tip to getting great sprinkler shots yourself.

We celebrated with all the madness our neighborhood can provide. Fireworks (legal and otherwise) were everywhere and the explosions lasted until the wee hours of the morning.

I’m trying to jump on the picture-a-day bandwagon. Amy has been doing this since the beginning of the year, and I think maybe it’s my turn to try.

We’ve moved in and are getting settled. And I’m happy to have some great neighbors here at the new blog!
