Sometimes, during this year that I am documenting through pictures, I just want to press the pause button and hold onto certain moments for a little while. I took today’s photo for exactly that reason. My 2-month-old son is growing so quickly, and today I looked down and saw a glimmer of the kid (and man) that he will someday grow into. But then I see the pacifier and lion jammies and am quickly reminded that right now he’s just my sweet little baby. (And, thankfully, a very willing photography model!)
