We’ve moved in and are getting settled. And I’m happy to have some great neighbors here at the new blog! Now that we’re all here together, we are ready to jump right in to what we love to do: contests and photography challenges! We’ll be updating our Flickr Group often to make sure you have lots to keep you busy this summer.

Every month we will issue new challenges for the group. July’s theme is “Summer,” and we’ve broken that down into weekly challenges. Our first week’s contest: photos containing water. It doesn’t get much more summery than that! (Hurry though — this is a short week. New challenges will always start on Sundays.)

Weekly winners will get their photos posted (linking back to their Flickr account) on our website’s home page. The only thing you need to get you started is a Flickr account and a camera! So head over to the DigitalPhotographyBlogs.com Flickr Group to join in and read the easy rules. We’re planning lots of great contests and prizes over there, so keep checking back.
