“Smile when you say that Partner!”
Remember back in the day (way back) before “ballistic nylon” was all the rage when cameras (still cameras and Cine-cameras) came in nice, rich brown leather cases? You could smell the leather every time your Dad un-snapped the case to take the camera out. Some cases made you also remove a “tripod screw” to be able to fully remove the camera from the case.
Remember , back in the day, when your Dad would strap a six-gun to his hip, cinching up the silver buckle on his rich-brown leather holster and loading up more .38 cal to protect the homestead from rustlers and hostile natives?
What? You don’t remember that?
Well, that ain’t no nevermind, because now you can both of those objects rolled into one!……….
From Sky Top Trading (click here) comes these beautiful leather holsters for your Nikon or Canon cameras!
For around $179.00 (US$ -Holster only) to around $270.00 (US$- Holster and strap…see site) you can get yourself a holster, full-coverage flap, 1.5″ wide strap with hardware.
These are beautifully handmade in US using heavy-duty premium grade full-grain harness and holster leather.
The leather looks thick enough to cover 2-cows and you can almost smell the rich, leather aroma just looking at their web-site.
They don’t say anything about embossing or tooling the leather, but I’m sure that you can get pretty fancy with one of these rigs by taking it over to the local saddlery-shop and asking them to tool the gumption out of it.
It’d be a right-nice rig if you ask me.
I can just see me with my .38 Special Colt wheel-gun on one hip and my Nikon D200 on the other (gotta get that order in for some suspenders….).
So, if you want to be the fastest-shooter on your block, and out-do Quick-Draw McGraw, check out these holsters at their web-site (click here too)!
Tell ‘em JimmyD sent you, and smile when you say that, partner.
