Free Photoshop!

Today Adobe announced the Beta-version of Photoshop-online, a free web-based version of Photoshop that’s called “Photoshop Express”.

I played with it and it has some nice features. The interface makes me think it’s kind of like a “Photoshop Elements for Dummies”.

It can do most of the basic editing functions (rotate, colors, brightness/exposure) as well as a few trickery ones (like Warp).

Pretty cool if you’re halfway around the world without your own computer and need to make a few tweeks or if you’re at home and don’t want to spring for a pay-version of Photoshop.

Check it out here.

About Jim Dennewill

A Southern California native, Jim Dennewell has had a fascination with photography since elementary school. Weaned on his family's old Kodak Brownie cameras (you know, the ones where everything moves backwards in the viewfinder), Jim has fostered his love for the art and tech of photography over the years. Originally known here as "Slightly Out of Focus," Jim is one of our favorite authors.
