Digital 3d photos

From our overseas desk comes news of a lens that can make your ordinary DSLR take 3d photos for later viewing with 3d glasses!

From Loreo Asia Ltd comes the “3d lens in a cap“.

It only works on DSLRs (no fixed-lens cameras) and is specific to certain camera models.

This is pretty cool (in concept anyway) as it allows you to keep “upgrading” your 3d camera as long as you stay in the same camera-family.

No more obsolete 3-d cameras collecting dust in the closet. Plus, it’ll be digital, so you can play-away with little or no after-purchase cost involved.

Can you say “1950s”?

Loreo has a plethora of interesting photography accessories including the “point & shoot” lens cap that’ll make your digital DSLR into a “point and shoot” camera. Meks that $2,000 you invested in the latest and greatest technology seem like a very worth while investment. (Actually it sounds like a lot of fun to me. Plus, who would have guessed that your “lensless” DSLR could actually take photos? Sounds very “Doisneauesque” to me.)

So, get your colored-viewing-glasses on and get to snapping those 3d pics!
