Jellies

Alice Nothing says Christmas Eve like a family visit to the aquarium. I was totally entranced by the jellies and took a great many pictures. The trick to shooting fish at the aquarium, I learned, is to take a lot of shots because chances are, many will be out of focus. The low light levels in the tank and the movement of the water and the fish do not make for the best focusing environment.

I used my point-and-shoot Elph camera set to the aquarium setting (under the scene menu), as I didn’t feel like lugging my Nikon and a tripod around along with the stroller. The only photo editing I did to these shots was to sharpen them a little with Picasa.
