Last minute gift idea for the difficult to buy for…

Have someone on your Christmas list that has too many things and simply doesn’t need anything else? How about someone you never can get just right? Have I got a deal for you…

In this month’s issue of “Rangefinder” magazine is an excellent article on Sacramento Bee Photographer Renée C. Buyer, who along with reporter Cynthia Hubert created the Pulizer Prize winning article “A Mother’s Journey” (Click here).

It’s the story of a Mother, Cyndie French and her struggle with her son, Derek’s, battle with terminal-cancer.

After Derek’s passing, Cyndie French started a charity called “Derek’s Wish” to help families who are dealing with those same issues.

So, click here and help out and give a wonderful gift in the name of the person you’d be buying the gift for.

Then let your gift-recipient know what you’ve done for them and what they’ve done for someone special.

What better gift could you give or get?

About Jim Dennewill

A Southern California native, Jim Dennewell has had a fascination with photography since elementary school. Weaned on his family's old Kodak Brownie cameras (you know, the ones where everything moves backwards in the viewfinder), Jim has fostered his love for the art and tech of photography over the years. Originally known here as "Slightly Out of Focus," Jim is one of our favorite authors.
