I shot this picture in a tunnel near Crystal Cove Beach near Newport, California a couple of weekends ago. The tunnel was really cool and I wanted the exterior part in the center to be blown out and overexposed.

This past Sunday found us at California Speedway (Thanks to my lovely wife!) to watch the Sharp-Aquos 500 NASCAR race.
To say it was hot was an understatement!
With a nice blast-furnace breeze to remind you that the 106-degree-plus temperatures were only a warm-up, the race got underway at 5:00.
