World’s Largest Photograph on Display

Starting September 6th, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California will open its doors to display the world’s largest photograph. Taken over the summer in a giant airplane hanger, the shot measures a staggering 107 x 31 feet! Admission is free. For details about the event, directions, and a sneak peek at the picture, click here. For more on the creation of this image, click here. I’m super excited to see this shot because I followed its creation from the beginning. I also haven’t been to the new South Campus at Art Center yet, so I need to check it out. The exhibit closes on September 29th, so I’ve got to get on the horse!

Now, exactly how does one get funding for a project of this magnitude?
I need a Nikon D3 and a few of their new lenses and if I can only get a grant…..

I went over today and looked at it, it was huge, but they were working on the best way to light the photo for viewing. Check it out, its pretty sweet.
