Getty Images recently launched a new podcast that looks interesting. Tara (of Edelman for Getty Images) does a better job explaining the project, so here’s a section of her email to me.

Jonathan Klein, co-founder and CEO of Getty Images, will interview leading global photographers, giving the audience insight into life behind the lens at the center of intense conflict zones, professional sport events and conceptual creative shoots.

The debut podcast features Getty photographer Spencer Platt (top right), who recently received the top honor at the 2007 World Press Photo Awards in Amsterdam for his image of a group of young Lebanese driving through a South Beirut neighborhood devastated by Israeli attacks (bottom right). Platt will discuss the public reaction this image has stirred, and will also speak about his coverage of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.
