Photo Mosaics Using Flickr Tools

Waif with Flower Mosaic Photo mosaics are a fun way to show off your pictures and creating one couldn’t be easier. Go to FD’s Flickr Toys and follow the instructions to create your mosaic. You can choose your background color, the shape and number of tiles in your mosaic, and either choose your pictures from your Flickr account or upload them directly from your computer.

I find that the more successful mosaics have a visual theme. You can choose all close-ups or all shots taken on the same day. Try a mosaic of macro shots or flowers. It’s a great tool for creating postcards, invitations, adding visual interest to your website, or making Christmas cards. I like doing mosaics of a many shots from a fun day. Here are some examples of themed mosaics.
