Photographs as Kid Room Decoration
Looking for decorations for your kids’ rooms? Try hanging up photographs of pages from their favorite books. Unlike just framing cut-out pages from a book, taking pictures allows you to focus on part
of an image and blow it up to whatever size you like (and you don’t wreck the book!). Doing a zoo theme? Try shooting a variety of animals drawn in different styles from your child’s books. Working with a moon theme? There are so many cool books featuring moons, and they can really add magic to a spacey room. These shots are from Wynken, Blynken and Nod.
How about letting your kid choose their own favorite pictures to frame?
Selling these shots, obviously, is a copyright violation, but there’s nothing to stop you from using these to decorate junior’s room or even your own!
If you use Flickr, a couple of dollars will get you an 8 x 10 print. Put that in an inexpensive frame, and voila!
