Rechargable Batteries
I need new rechargeable batteries for my flash. I currently have a few sets of Energizer 2300 mAh and they seem to be on their last legs. Any favorite brands?

i’ve used them for a couple years. honestly, i don’t know how well they compare to other rechargeable AA’s, but i do like them. i’m more inclined to say that their chargers are more robust than the batteries themselves; but it’s a great combo.

Is there any specific model you would recommend?

I know little about rechargeable batteries. Can I use my Energizer charger with any brand battery?

John: I am very impressed with Sanyo Eneloop rechargeables. I put a set of 4 fully charged AAs in a Pentax K100D I was testing and after 640 shots — when I had to send it back — the battery meter on the camera still displayed all bars. This converted me from rechargeable sceptic to enthusiast.

[...] those of you using on-camera strobes and looking for longer battery life (John?), or alternative power sources, check out Al Jacob’s site “Al Jacobs Photography” [...]
