Today’s challenge photo is of a very nice ivory carving given to me by my Aunt. He may be a small Samurai, but he is a mighty warrior.

This was taken with my Nikon D200, Nikon 105mm VR micro lens, sidelit with an old 110-format Kodak Carousel slide projector.

Today my wife and I did something rare for us lately, we took Saturday off and went to the San Bernardino Museum (taking the day off was the “rare” part). We had a good time and saw all the requisite museum-stuff.
