Day 26-The Glass Menagerie

Long busy day today, so I didn’t have much time to get a photo. Even though today was an awesome day for getting pictures here in SoCal what with the rain and the clouds (check out Amy’s picture here), I just didn’t have the time to whip out my Nikon and grab some of that natural beauty.

So…today I give you..

<>The Glass menagerie, which….

is really a cool set of plastic goblets (humor me, awrite?) given to us by my Niece Tiffany. I lit them from behind with a 500w Photoflood, and snapped the pic with my Nikon D200, Nikon 18-200 VR lens, giottes tripod and a SanDisk Ultra II memory card.

Beautiful colors!

Oh my gosh - that is a cool shot! Great idea lighting them from behind. Much more colorful that you would have found outside yesterday in all the grayness!

Thank you both! this is one of those shots that’s been on my mind ever since I received the glasses as a present.
