Day 26: Cropping Closer

Coffee shop lighting Sometimes you just gotta take a break for coffee with a friend. That’s exactly what I needed today, Day 26 of the 30 Day Photo project. I’m totally running out of ideas for what to photograph, so I figured the funky lighting of a local coffee shop could make for a cool photograph. (Yeah, I know — yet another lamp shot!)

With less than a week to go and my trusty and faithful point-and-shoot with me wherever I go, this what I scrounged up for tonight. I cropped the lamp close so you don’t necessarily know what it is upon first glance. That’s what I love so much about photography. I get to choose the perspective of an image to show people, but they can interpret that perspective however they want.
