Fell Off the Photo Wagon

Rusty Paint Well, I fell off the photo wagon this week.  Life got crazy and I barely had a minute to catch my breath.  Something had to go, and this week it was the 30 Day Photo Challenge.  I have actually scheduled time this weekend to take pictures.  It’s sort of sad that it has come to that since picture taking is usually a more organic and spontaneous adventure for me, but so be it.

This is a shot of rotten old paint cans I took two weeks ago that didn’t make the challenge cut for that day.  Shayne cleaned out the old shed and there were a zillion old rusty paint cans sitting out in the sun for a week or so.  It was a one-way ticket to a tetnus shot.  It’s rumored in my family that my grandfather (Dad’s dad) was one of the few people to ever survive lock jaw without having had a tetnus shot.  Hmmm, strange.
