Day 21-Foreign Invaders!!!
Guess who’s discovered our bird-feeder? You got it, the ol’ squirrel-nuts that live in the field behind the house!
The first one to notice was this little brown guy, saying “Hey, what’s that guy doing near my food??”
The squirrel, trying to be stealth-like, snuck slowly up to the bird-seed.
Tryng not to be noticed, he crept slowly, laying low…
Trying to look nonchalant, he looked this way and that, stopping to sniff a blade of grass now and then….
Finally the birds had had enough of this intruder and decided to take back their feeding area.
This scared off the intruder and he said:
“I’m outta here!”
The birds took over the guard-tower
and returned to feeding….
