Day 13 - Backlit Girl

Little Waif with Flower I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems as though my daughter is always backlit. I started looking through folder after folder of shots of Chloe and sure enough, she’s always backlit! I don’t know how sheLeaf Pancake manages it! And here are some more examples of this odd backlighting phenomenon from our romp outside late yesterday afternoon.

These were shot with my Nikon D70s and a 18-70mm kit lens. I set the camera to Aperture Priority with a wide open aperture of around f/4.5 toI'm This Big help the background go out of focus. I'm Going to Get You Mama

She IS always backlit. I think I have actually seen the sun change positions in the sky because she has moved. Amazing.

Hi,
I must compliment you on your work with the camera. You are too good lady ! :)
It is unlikely that you may hear this from many guys… but I love kids ! They’re God’s most wonderful creations… and they light up ur life like nothing else does. My sister is expecting a baby boy..and I cant wait to go and play with him !

You have a very very beautiful baby girl too.. Chloe is an absolute angel ! :) - Navneet.
