Day 7: Finding New Uses For Things

Correct use for potty TBDJust a quick post for tonight. Since our daughter just turned a year and a half, we got her a potty. Even though she's still really young, we thought it would be a great idea to just have it around for her to get used to--you know, sitting on it and figuring out its appropriate use. There's been some sitting, sure. But there's mostly been much exploring and wearing of the various parts. This whole scene just cracked me up. So much so that this shot made my pick for Day 7 of the Photo a Day project. Since, with this project, I'm striving more for snapshots of life just happening rather than the pressure of having to take stunning photos every day, this fit the bill. And when the pressure's off, I'm much more able to just enjoy making photographs every day for a month and getting myself back in the habit. It's amazing how fast the camera (and my skills!) get dusty. Thinking about dusting off your camera and joining us on the challenge? It's not too late!
