Travelog

Mad Spaghettiface I like taking all kinds of pictures when I travel to trigger memories, particularly of things that might slip my mind later in life. Sure, I’ll always remember the ice storm, but will I always remember the leaning tower of blocks or spaghettiface? I like to record pictures of hotel rooms and funny waitresses and airplanes. Since Shayne couldn’t come with me on this trip, I recorded randomness from the trip for him. Here are some of the highlight pictures from my recent trip to Annapolis.

Kicking the seat in front of me Chloe kicked the poor woman in front of her for the whole trip from LA to Atlanta. Poor woman.

Chloe and Uncle Bump Here’s Chloe with her Uncle Bump, my brother. He HATES having his picture taken, and will be even madder at me for posting it to the internet. Ha.
The Leaning Tower of Blocks

And here’s Uncle Bump’s leaning tower of blocks and exercise ball, constructed for Chloe’s clobbering pleasure.

Valentine's Tulips Shayne sent me tulips and chocolates for Valentine’s Day. They were waiting for me when I got to Annapolis. Isn’t that sweet of him to surprise me like that? I seriously have the best husband.
Spaghettiface And last but not least: Spaghettiface, An Adventure in Eating. What I like about these pictures is seeing Chloe sit on Mom’s dining room chair. Those are the chairs I sat on through my whole childhood. They’re awesome gothic-looking things and I know every inch of them. It’s funny to think that Chloe will have that kind of tactile relationship with the furniture in my house that I did with Mom’s furniture.Spaghettiface 2
