After a long hiatus, I have returned to the blogisphere! I needed a break and life has been lively and busy these many weeks. I’ve also been in a picture-taking slump, and hadn’t found much inspiration for shooting or writing.

Shayne has been travelling for most of the month, which is always challenging (especially during the holidays), but he has returned to much rejoicing from Chloe and me.  I’m also winding down my APU Cinematography class (final exam is tonight - good luck guys!), have finished all my Christmas shopping, painted the laundry room, started ripping our entire CD collection onto the computer and have accomplished a whole bunch of random stuff I’ve been putting off for months and months. It’s a good feeling, but I’m ready now for some restful picture taking.

A few days ago, the light in our office was beautiful and Chloe was playing under my favorite table. I managed to get the camera just in time before she moved on to other projects. I finally think she’s starting to look a little like me? Maybe?

What I like about these pictures is how the table frames her face. And she’s so damn cute!
