20″ Wide-Gamut LCD Monitor

Looks like Samsung is upping the ante on professional monitors where color rendition is of upmost importance.  Enter the Samsung XL20.

The monitor uses an LED backlight and can display 114% of the NTSC color gamut as well as the full Adobe RGB gamut (which Samsung’s press release calls the Adobe RGB “natural” gamut). Typical LCD monitors can only display about 82% of the NTSC gamut, according to Samsung.

Jim, how long before you get a couple of these?

I’ll have to suffer with my 23″ Apple Cinema display for a while…now when they make a PRINTER that can print the full display gamut, let me know!
