Thanks!

As this year’s Thanksgiving Holiday draws to a close, we were fortunate enough to be able to take a few minutes and enjoy the views from the back-windows of our new house. The moving-in is done, but the unpacking goes on.

The show put on by Mother Nature was fantastic and is always a reminder that we have a lot to be thankful for all year long.

Sometimes it’s harder than other times to stop and find things to be thankful for, but you rarely have to search too far to find something worthwhile.

Friends, family, a kind stranger or shopkeeper. Without a doubt all those people who work to keep us safe, at home and abroad.

Food, shelter, or the kindness of others who help those without either. Health and happiness or the intense education you can get when you have niether.

I hope all of you have found many things to be grateful for, big or small, and have helped others to have something to be thankful for too.

About Jim Dennewill

A Southern California native, Jim Dennewell has had a fascination with photography since elementary school. Weaned on his family's old Kodak Brownie cameras (you know, the ones where everything moves backwards in the viewfinder), Jim has fostered his love for the art and tech of photography over the years. Originally known here as "Slightly Out of Focus," Jim is one of our favorite authors.
