Quick Tip For Flickr Sets

If you’re like me, you’ve got a lot of Flickr sets. And I’m sure you created them, like me, as a quick and easy way for people to view particular groups of your photos. Well, I just found out about a way to make viewing photosets one step easier and more convenient: the “detail view.”
I really can’t believe I never knew about this before — it’s so much easier to view sets this way! Now, when sharing a photoset with friends and family, just add “/detail” to the set links. You can also click the “Detail view” link when you open up a set on Flickr, which does the same thing. This allows you to view the group of photos without having to squint at the thumbnails. It also conveniently allows you to see titles and descriptions without clicking into each individual photo. Although, this tip probably works best with smaller sets, as opposed to ones with several pages of photos.
Check out these links to understand what I’m talking about:
A photoset I created for my storyboards - default view
A photoset I created for my storyboards - detail view
The detail view makes browsing sets so much easier, right? Now don’t say I never gave you helpful advice!
