On the road…

So I’m on vacation this week in beautiful New Hampshire.  The leaves are a rainbow of fall colors in the already beautiful countryside.  New Hampshire weather, while not the best for laying at the beach, is very interesting, photography-wise.  And what do I do?  I leave the camera at home.

We made this decision because we were taking our two kids and all the associated baby accesories.  I felt like a mule yesterday running through the airport with a backpack and two car seats strapped to me.  So yes, for one day I was happy not to have to haul around the gear bag.

But now I’m dissapointed I don’t have it.  Sure, we have the diaper bag camera, which works well.  But I’m going to miss my D70.  I may have to break down and borrow my brothers Canon (just that tiny D1s Mark II). Maybe this is an excuse to experiment and see what our Elph can really do.

I’ll get some photos up, one way or another.

Bummer about leaving the other camera, can’t wait to see what you get though, either way!
