Here are some more shots from my trip to the LA Flower Mart over the weekend. I tweaked these shots a bit in Photoshop to add a touch more brightness (using levels). I used my Nikon D70 DSLR with a 70mm lens for all of these shots.

There was one vendor early in the day who said, “No pictures!” He had some really cool arrangements of branches and gnarled wood sculptures. Oh well. But after that, I asked permission from all the vendors before snapping my pictures. They were all very accomodating and I didn’t have any problems for the rest of the day. But it never hurts to ask, and it makes people feel respected.
