The Phonebook is Here!
Ok, so it’s not the phonebook, it’s even better. I just got my new issue of Digital Camera Magazine in the mail. Hurray! I love this magazine, as I’ve said many times before. Pricey for those of us in the USA, as it’s a UK magazine, but sooooo worth the price. I don’t subscribe to any other photography magazines, because this one has everything I need – informative articles, beautiful pictures, and it’s not so full of ads that you have to work to find the written content. This month’s issue looks to be great – family portraits, taking great summer pictures, sunsets, polarizers, and ratings of flashguns. Though, through a strange printing error, 30 pages of the magazine appear twice?! Wonder what that was all about. Did anyone else get a copy like that?
Anyway, if you haven’t seen this magazine, you can get issues about a month behind at Borders Bookstore or subscribe here.

I actually prefer Digital Photo to Digital Camera, because it has a bit more postprocessing, though a bit less photography and camera reviews.
It is completely unfair that such good magazines cost an arm and a leg here in the United States.

I’ll have to give Digital Photo a shot. Yes, very sad about the cost, but worth it rather than spending the same amount on a bunch of US magazines that don’t cut the mustard!
