A Whole Year of Color?

I love color. And I love photo challenges. But a challenge that last a whole year and includes a whole crayon box of colors? That’s a little overwhelming! Amy over at happythings is putting us all to the test, and has created this challenge so that we can all “revel in the colors that inspire us.” So if you are as inspired by colors as I am and think you’re up for this kind of thing, check out the Flickr Group for the details.
Each week a new color will be introduced, with a photo posted of the actual crayon so there is no question about what exactly Burnt Sienna or Chartreuse look like. You don’t have to post every day, or even every week, for that matter. Just post when you feel inspired or happen across the color of the week in your shooting. That’s what I plan to do. It’s a great way to keep your eye looking for color in everything (starting with white, the color for the first week)!
Also, Amy seems to share my weird and slightly OCD trait of rainbow-atizing everything in my world, or at least wanting to. You should see my closet and my file folders at work. This project might just fill that urge for me a little!
