Trying to find a fun do-it-yourself project for the holiday weekend? Look no further — I found a great homemade blocks project on Photojoto that promises a “stunning gift from your photos in 15 minutes or less.” All you need to do is scrounge up some photos of your family members (or pets, or whatever!) to start making your own set of blocks for your child! I can manage that. And another great thing about this project is that you only really need the following items: a 4×6 photo, ruler, scissors, rubber cement and four 2″x3″ linoleum blocks. Then just head over to Photodoto to watch their easy video tutorial.

I think I’m going to make a few blocks sets for my baby. Now it’s just a matter of narrowing down who gets to be featured. Mommy? Daddy? Dog? Grandparents? Hmm…I better get going. It looks like I’ve got some work to do.
