Tiles
We’re painting the kitchen wall a terracotta color with the cabinets a warm putty. It’s going to be pretty. I was thinking about what pictures to put on the walls, and I decided upon out of focus images of tiles. I went to a bunch tile stores in an industrial park yesterday with my mother-in-law, Karen and took loads of pictures to play with. I still have a zillion pictures to manipulate, but so far, these are the contenders. What do you think? Any favorites? I used Gaussian Blur in Photoshop to de-focus some of them. I’m planning to hang them in framed squares on one wall.

The third one is my favorite. But the 2nd and last look nice together.
Why out of focus?

I dunno, just felt like it. I think I want more impressions of tiles. Any ideas?

No, your idea is nice. I was just curious. I just tiled my floors and can provide a pic if you’re interested.

The floors are not as colorful as your pics though.

I’d love to see a picture of your floors. I really like the third picture, too. Actually, I like all of them, but don’t know about how to combine them. I may have to go look at the others and see what will blend together well.

Second is my favorite. You really should sell the photo to the store – the lighting is cool.

Wait – I mean, second in the set of four, so I guess I mean the third on the page. Oops!
