Program teaches kids photography is a SNAP
Going through my news feeds I found this cool article about a program called SNAP (Seeing Necessary Alternatives Photographically):
We tend to focus on information for taking pictures OF your kids (our Daughter is only 7 months old – go figure) but this article talks about a great program coming to Flint, MI that has Kodak donating 1,200 recyclable cameras to local schools to give kids the chance to really explore photography. This got me thinking – do any of our readers have similar programs in their areas? If you enrolled your child, what was his or her experience with the program?
Finally, my one comment about the program is: attempting to cram words into an already chosen acronym usually doesn’t work. Snap.
