Day Zero
In anticipation of a busy weekend, I’ll be posting a few macro-shot’s I’ve taken in the past. These all remind me of spring because the yard is now pretty quiet as the bugs are keeping warm someplace else.
The first two are of the ubiquitious yellow butterflies that are common place here in SoCal (are they everywhere else too??). You can see the long-black “tongue” sucking up the nectar from the flowers. I’m sure this makes them popular.
These were taken with my Nikon D1x and the awesome Nikon 105micro lens, handheld. The tags are: bugs
