My friend Robyn sent me tulips for my birthday. I like the fieriness of this one and set out to take some macro photographs. I put the flower arrangement by my giant livingroom window. It was bright overcast with sheers covering the window. Because I had to get so close [...]

Sorry for the delay, we were out at the California Speedway for Saturday’s STATER BROTHER’S 300.
I picked this picture to post (which is actually about a 20% crop of a JPEG-picture from my awesome D200), because I liked the expressions of the crews and officials as Anthony Foyt’s (A.J.Foyt IV) car is being towed through [...]

I told you I’d start this weekend, and it’s still this weekend in the Pacific Time Zone. So I’m just sneaking this one in today.

I set my Nikon D200 on stun (actually, on ISO 100 @ 30seconds at f10) and blasted 4-times. It was fitted with a SIGMA 18-125 [...]

Energyface has a fun post on how to clone people. It’s simple enough that I may even find some time to give it a go. Maybe I’ll get a pic for the contest out of it.
